Meru Jordan Hospital is one of the largest healthcare providers in Meru County, offering a wide range of specialized medical services. It serves patients from Meru, Tharaka Nithi, Laikipia, and Isiolo counties and beyond.
The hospital is a regional center for advanced care, including complex neurosurgery, maternity, pediatric services, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, physiotherapy, ENT services, and more.
Originally known as Meru Tenri Hospital, the facility underwent significant renovations and expansions in 2015/2016, leading to its rebranding as Meru Jordan Hospital. The expansion increased the number of consultation rooms, dental and optical services, emergency care, operating theatres, and radiology departments, allowing for comprehensive inpatient services. A new management team and staff were also introduced to enhance service delivery.
